The seventh annual South Asia Regional Rounds, hosted in partnership with the Centre for Communication Governance at National Law University, Delhi, took place from 17 to 20 November, 2016 in Delhi.

Runner Up of South Asia Rounds 2016-17 is National Law Institute University, Bhopal
Best Memorial for South Asia Rounds 2016-17 goes to NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad
Best Speaker for South Asia Rounds 2016-17 goes to Kruthika N.S., West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences
According to the Supplementary Rules of South Asia Rounds, the teams qualifying to the International rounds in Oxford are:
- National Law School of India University, Bangalore
- National Law Institute University, Bhopal
- Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan
- University of Dhaka, Bangladesh

Please note that teams from the countries/regions listed below must apply to South Asia Regional Rounds in order to qualify for the International Rounds in Oxford. Teams should check which Regional Round applies to them, if there is no applicable Regional Round they may apply directly to the International Rounds.
